Avalanche 2025

Hello parents of our Junior High students (Grades 6-8)! We are so pumped for Avalanche 2025, a weekend retreat designed specifically for Junior High students!

On January 17-19, hundreds of teens from various church youth groups will gather at Muskoka Woods Camp - 4585 Highway 141, Rosseau, ON P0C 1J0 - for a weekend of fun, worship, and learning together! This is an amazing experience that we would love for all of our junior highs to be able to be a part of, and so that is why you are here!

Since this retreat is just a couple of months away, we have to get moving on registration and all of that sort of stuff!

To register your kid(s), please send us an email by December 6, so that we can confirm our numbers, and then I will register our group and purchase tickets for this event!

It is very important that we hear back from you as parents as soon as possible, so that we are able to purchase enough tickets for our group to attend this awesome weekend! For your convenience, I have included some key details that you will want to know as you register your kid(s) for this weekend!

Please see the details below, and complete the registration checklist below, to let us know that your kid(s) are able to join us!

KEY THINGS TO NOTE:

  • Cost: The registration cost for this event will be around $200. This will include transportation costs as well as all of the expenses for the retreat (food, bed, etc.) Exact registration fees will be explained once we have confirmed the number of students attending, but you can expect it to land at $200 or less.

NOTE: THE REGISTRATION FEE SHOULD NEVER BE A BARRIER THAT PREVENTS A STUDENT FROM ATTENDING - IF THIS IS SOMETHING YOU JUST CAN’T MAKE WORK AT THIS TIME - NO WORRIES! SEND ME A MESSAGE AND WE WILL WORK IT OUT AND MAKE SURE YOUR KID(S) CAN STILL JOIN US!

These retreat experiences are incredible, and often life-changing for many students, so I would really challenge you to encourage your kids(s) to join us for this weekend.
